Original gems > any later gems. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yes I agree, the post luclin gems is easier to distinguish, but its just not classic [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

And if you really need to fiddle that much with your mouse and think about wich gem is the spell you need to press .... you seriously need to learn to use your keyboard and get some brain food to remember wich button is what [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

just kiddin .. no offense ment [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But what is the problem with the Pegasus Cloak anyway ?

The problem with the different spell gem sets that exists .... I have fiddled with it too, is the gems is stored in a matrix in a .tga file, and the the luclin version is indexed completely different than the original gem file (eg. the "Healing" gem could be at pos 1,3 in one version but at pos 2,7 in the other, wich is why you need to edit the indexes of the spells_us.txt.

What is making this a challenge is, you have to keep any copies or edits of the tga files in the same resolution. if you change the resolution of the gems you have to figure out a new matrix to find the spot of eg. gem nr 5 in row 3 to get eg the ui xml files to work.

Personly i ran screaming away when i found this out .... it reminded me a bit too much of assembler and opcode programming.
Its not so complicated to understand, it just takes ages if you want to change stuff

the problem with pegasus cloak (and i guess with any levitate spell) is explained in the pictures. look at them.

to explain it further:

if i klick on the pegasus cloak (with original titanium spell file) i get a message that i am casting an unidentified spell. nothing happens after, no levitate, no buff symbol. but, upon zoning and within the buff timer i levitate + i get a weird buff icon on the buff bar.

The pegasus cloak appears to have unknown effect because that spell doesn't exist in the default spells_us.txt

We fixed a few things that are unfixed elsewhere.

Pegasus cloak should have effect 'levitate', similar to magician summoned ring 'levitate'. Just from these, we had to create 2 new levitate spells. Both componentless, but one that is self-only, and one that is targetable.

Sony, at some point, changed the "levitate" on cloaks, and rings, to "levitation" as that was the easy fix.

We also fixed summoned:waterstone. It was supposed to be enduring breath, not everlasting.. which required yet another spell to be added: componentless enduring breath.

I like things fixed classically :P
