I tried being the nice guy, apologizing, making nice, being humble, all that got me was 4 weeks in irc with my thumb up my ass getting ignored. I guess they figured I'd get bored and go away, but whether they came out and said it or not, they still said "fuck you".
Which is unfortunate. I'm a much better ally than enemy.
