If suspensions/bans were handed out liberally (yet fairly and consistently) when this shit comes up (like you did), people would eventually stop doing it out of fear of having their time/effort they've invested in their precious pixels being swept away.

Instead, it ends up in a downward spiral, no guild wanting to be a doormat for another guild that is willing to stoop lower because they perceive they can get away with it.

Suspend rules-violators and an innocent guildmate of theirs each and every time. Peer pressure will sort it out.

Also i'm pretty sure when you take an initial DT, no one else will be on that hate list. The mob immediately goes into seek mode and his hate list is empty. Unless you have 2-3 people tagging in some miracle where a mob doesn't DT the exact same time it get's aggro'd by the 1st person, otherwise the very next 2 people would be the only ones on the new hate list.

Inny never reset after I was DT'd, Perun jav'd right after. I got to watch with the hover after death.

So by this you mean it's perfectly fine to snake "FTEs" after another guild has taken the DT? cool.

The first engagement is over after you drop off the hate list because you died from the DT and you were the only one on the hate list. Just like if everyone in TMO was on the hate list, you all wiped so none of you are on its hate list, and Inny is still up... the engagement is over.

Ever stop to think we were wondering what the fuck was going on? Stealin took the dt and perun (aka the fat kid who uses showeq then was let back into his guild becuase they are terrible) javed it so quick that he saw it all happen before his screen even started loading from the death.

TMO usually backs off when shit gets snaked is why. Like I said, as soon as i got DT'd Perun told me he jav'd it.

On my screen, I got DT'd and it was immediately aggro'd on someone else. When someone took it we weren't sure who it was, I thought it might have been the BDA monk who also had previous aggro like I did. Perun confirmed that he had it and we backed off at 60% and let them wipe. We still got xp tho because they/you tried to snake it.

You might know more about how to take a DT, but you know little on the mechanics.

The encounter log from Amelinda was posted showing Perun FTE. The precedent where Rogean stated taking the initial DT does not equal FTE. Seems pretty clear to me. Nothing was done as far as I know.

We don't burn ourselves out waiting for targets. I track a few hours at a time while I'm doing stuff around my place, reading, or watching dirty internet porn. Your trackers have beat me a few times during a Gina Ryder scene. And I've beat your trackers before as well. One person tracking does not equal poopsocking. The reality is, that's how you get targets. When I'm done and I want to play, someone takes over for me. Or the mob goes untracked. Not the end of the world. We've become smarter about strategically positioning our mains and then playing alts, but to my knowledge, we're not sitting there continuously refreshing the login screen. If we get there first, great. If not, grats TMO.

But if we get there first and you guys pull shady shit and get away with it like memblurring Talendor or rules-lawyering that a DT is FTE after Rogean spelled it out before to you that it wasn't, then that's what makes this server harder to log into.
