The point that I'm trying to make is: worry more about running the server instead of trying to be some sort of linguistics moderator that feels the need to control what people are saying like this is some sort of police state. Who cares if people swear? Deal with it.

That's nice. Except, like Finawin, you're missing the point. It's not about any one, single person being offended. It's about the reputation of the community as a whole. If the first thing people see when they log onto p99 is a bunch of racist/sexist/homophobic and otherwise hateful discussion, joking or not, it's not going to bode well for the success of the server. All the devs are asking for is some self-restraint. The fact is, that shit is not necessary. Seriously, some minor swear words are not the issue here.
