Hello everyone.

I ran a desirability census poll 9 months ago in order to see which classes were most desirable for groups. Since then Kunark got released and we have had quite a few patches removing items and changing game mechanics. So lets see where we stand now. Lets pretend you are making a group and have a choice of all the classes. Choose 6 classes to comprise your group. (Ideally, you will pick YOUR class PLUS OTHER 5.) Please only choose 6 Total otherwise it will skew the results. Here are the results of the poll that ran from March 2011 until May 2011 based on 555 votes. [You must be logged in to view images. A group for what? EXP? If so 2 wiz 2 chanter 1 cleric 1 bard. Or are we looking to hold down the hardest camps in game like Juggs/Myconids and deep Charasis stuff?

My ideal group would be 4 Monks + Bard + Shaman. I like DPS heavy groups, they are almost always more fun for me.

Also, Dald... if you were not a druid, would you still include one in your dungeon group?

in terms of pure xp generation you want warrior, cleric, enchanter, rogue, rogue, rogue

swap a rogue for a druid if you need a port to get out of wherever you are going a bard might technically do better than an enchanter in terms of raw power, but keep in mind he's got to do 20% better to break even on the xp modifier - likewise warrior vs sk/pal tanks depending on the context you could also do well swapping an enchanter and one rogue for a necro and a monk

I think some people are grossly underestimating just how ridiculously powerful enchanter charmed pets are or how powerful the class itself is in Kunark.

Here's the sad thing: If enchanters didn't have haste, clarity, or mez, they would still be worth inviting to exp groups.
