Try the guild plotlines. I found the Thieves Guild central quest to be very good.
I'm playing on standard difficulty with a stealth-based character. At level 30 I still occasionally die to things. Melee mobs take a nasty chunk out of my char's health, so I'm pretty screwed if I get into a large fight without a ton of potions.
Max difficulty (Master) is more challenging; a lot of stuff will one-shot even a pure melee character.

I think it's funny Uthgaard is here trying to claim he's some kind of ultra GM who never made mistakes. Fucking newb banned me from server after he broke the forum rules by insulting me and banned me for simply arguing with Nilbog. He claimed this is because *I* broke the rules by saying something Nilbog said was bullshit. Banned in game for arguing with Nilbog on forums in a way that wasn't respectable enough for him. This in spite of the fact that Nilbog handled it fine, told me to stop ranting, and so I did.. hours later Uthgaard comes along and breaks the rules and bans me both on forums and in games because he's so mad I didn't "respect his authority." Guy was on a total power trip over being a GM as pointed out by him thinking it's acceptable to seek people out in real life trying to get them in trouble at work for something that happens on a video game forum. Uthgaard would have made a great SS officer, sieg heil.

Secrets has always come off as childish and unprofessional to me, which is a totally non-biased, neutral opinion as I have never had any direct action with Secrets...plus it's probably illegal or something for staff members to be posting a 'customer's' (can't think of a better word right now) personal information, no matter the circumstances.

Wasn't a fan of the graphics or the combat system. I also don't like that much free-roaming (Final Fantasy VII is about as much free-roaming as I can tolerate before ADD kicks in).

LOL. Insulting my flaws doesn't hurt my feelings. I have no flaws that I'm not aware of. But my actions on P99 are not one of them, and I have no regrets about any decision I made. You can, however be butthurt and jealous of my successes.

Digging up people's RL info never had anything to do with GM access, and I don't care whether you agree with doing it. Take you, for example, you aren't afraid of me because you're sitting behind the cozy comfort of your computer screen, assuming that no one is going to know who you are, how to find you, or how to affect something that's real and tangible in your life.

With someone like me, that's a dangerous assumption. I get results, no matter what's in my way. And that's what people are afraid of. If you raise to the level of being worth my attention, and you are pose a threat to something I'm involved in, you may never even know it was me, or how I got it to happen, but you won't be a threat for long.

I don't give two pumps a tickle and a squirt whether or not you think that's cool. But no one can deny that where others would lament their impotence to change the situation, I always got results.
