OK Smart guy, how do you define "dictatorship?"
Thus sayeth the the dictionary of Hasbinbad:

Dictatorship -

A constitutionally limited government of the representative type, created by a written Constitution & adopted by the people (or electorate thereof) and changeable (from its original intent) by them only by its amendment. Its powers divided between three separate Branches: Executive, Legislative and Judicial. Head of state and other officials are representatives of the people and are bound to govern according to existing constitutional law that limits the government's power over all of its citizens. The system is characterized by the majority rule limited under a written constitution safeguarding the rights of the individual and the minority...

I asked you a fairly simple question so as to provide facts within a framework, but you decided that honest attempt at discourse was too much trouble and trollololed it away. Then you accuse me of bullshitting.

I would be surprised, but this is actually very typical; a head-in-the-sand circular-argumentation tactic used by many "patriots" in this country, many of whom couldn't tell you who is on the front and what is on the back of the $2 bill without the assistance of google.

Try your batshit-crazy on someone who doesn't know better, kthx.

This is all you could come up with.. a bill that you (or your liberal rags) didn't actually read or have malicious intention to blow out of proportion? Also, one that is still pending a vote, but not the point.

Go read the actual bill and come back. (specifically sections 1031-1033 that you and your buddies at the ACLU are having a problem with)

http://thomas.loc.gov/home/Legislati...hp?&n=BillText (pro tip: search for s. 1867)

Here is a quick excerpt for you:
Quote:
(b) Applicability to United States Citizens and Lawful Resident Aliens-
(1) UNITED STATES CITIZENS- The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to citizens of the United States.
(2) LAWFUL RESIDENT ALIENS- The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to a lawful resident alien of the United States on the basis of conduct taking place within the United States, except to the extent permitted by the Constitution of the United States.
