Thanks for the answer, I've read that the resta the marines walk away from him at some points in the day, so you could charm and snatch him then I guess?

I'm suprised more KoS meele types havent done this and documented it, for the OT hammer quest.

Tons of people do this for OT hammer, problem is only works on the charmer (chanter/bard). Other than that you have to use puppet strings, and only a hand full of people own them and they charge anywhere up to 8-10k per click

most people i know will pay to use a CT string charge to charm the guy for the OT hammer.

As far as the undead marines walking away from him, idk about that. I know the living guards move at night to the guard house but i've never seen the undead marines move.

I have, however, lull'd them all on my necro (took 3 attempts to get no resists) and then turned them in while FD'd. I imagine if you wait till night, lull the undead marines, you could charm the captian and pull him over the wall solo to do all the turn-ins you need.

I HIGHLY suggest lulling them from on top of the wall with levitate. If you get a resist you can run away easier. You'll need Sow, as they all run fast as hell (Or at least J-boots and run at an angle to the ground then click of lev and spam jump to get away).
