I don't think dieties really played too much of a role pre-SoL, other than some impact on faction.

Here's a tidbit though, a Rallos Wood Elf Warrior is KoS to the guards in Kaladim =p

This can't be true. My RZ halfling warrior did a lot of stuff in Kaladim.

Maybe Halfing natural faction offset the Rallos Zek natural faction?

Or you just happened to kill a ton of goblins/orcs or something before venturing inside.
