When you check out the stats for the server on the eqemu site, you get the stats for Beta:

Server Version: 0.8.0
Server Status: Locked
Average Players: 49
Max Players: 255

Might want to wipe the stats since the pitifully low 49 player average is going to drag down the real average for a while.
