I am sure that there are people on the internet that reacted the exact same way with 9/11 and i know that i wouldn't appreciate it then and im sure anyone of polish decent wouldn't appreciate this either.

I know there is usually a few month waiting period before you can start making jokes.

As far as 9/11 is concerned, there were some great jokes I heard around that time.. being a native new yorker i still found them funny. Maybe I just have an easier time making light of a situation because I have dealt with a lot of tragedy in my life.
