I thought I already mentioned Joy Division...

J/K but seriously though, most indie rock today is either ripping off Joy Division or Siouxsie & the Banshees.

My wife listens to most of that stuff, not that I don't enjoy some of it.

The basics include:
Pixies, Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Muse, Metric, etc... the usual.
Is that what you wanted to hear? Not even sure where I would place Gorillaz...

After living in williamsburg for three years though, I have had enough indie rock. I almost wanted to burn some of my old rare Joy Division records on the corner just to spark outrage amongst the inhabitants.
