This only works if you're given a static IP. Some people I doubt would know how to actually get around an IP ban

I thought only dynamic ip addys were changeable like that?

dynamic ips are assigned to the computer itself. Which the IP banning will target the IP that the ISP gives the modem. <--Static IP
