Spawned 5 times now. Do I have to somehow give him the note for him to drop the Order of thunder?
Am I doing something wrong?

Buddy of mine "said" the Note DOES NOT DROP he tried for awhile. (not personally confirmed)

We just killed the bear and took the nasty Ranger faction hit

Note doesn't drop from the bear?
I still cant even get Drosco to drop the amulet or w/e it is.

I have personally done this quest twice.

Drosco does drop the item, but it can be rare.

Mammoth when killed will drop the Bayle List II.

I've done this quest a number of times and on my last go around I did some patient camping and figured out his spawn point. Room 7 on the EQ Atlas map is not the spawn point, but both Drosco and his PH do roam there. Both roam quite a distance through the catacombs. The actual spawn point for Drosco and his PH is slightly above and to the left of room 13 on the map at the open circular area with a land path going north and 2 water paths going South and East. First roam around and kill both cubes(or Drosco if up) then settle down to the north of the spawn point where the path turns right(roughly loc 100, 240). Then sit and wait. I have forgotten the spawn timer, but I believe it is 15 minutes or thereabouts. Either a cube or Drosco will pop. The amulet is a very rare drop so be patient.
