FF7 was very far from my first Final Fantasy, and to say that it's the only reason anyone enjoys it is presumptuous and silly.

I also enjoyed 1 and 6 (FF3 american release)

7 was my favorite, next was 6, then 9, then 3.

Chrono Trigger above all those though.

7 is way overrated, 6 is the clear winner. I'm attractive irl and I go to an ivy league school so my opinion on this matter is the correct one.

This thread makes no sense because Xenogears is better than all of these games listed.

FYI, Final Fantasy did start before number 7, for those of you that are unaware. Go 3.

Xenogears and Mario RPG were good ones too. Legend of Mana was good too.

on the subject of other 'good' rpgs (and hasn't had a mention).

Star Ocean: The second story was good. I had well over 150hrs in that game before I beat it and never did everything.

Suikoden series has some good titles in it as well.

BoF 3 was good.
