The new patch file has an ''old'' folder in it. It's not supposed to be there. If you didn't notice this, and extracted the ''old'' folder into your EQ folder then you'll need to start all over again and remove the ''old'' folder before you patch the file. Hope this makes sense.

Had same issues as above poster, now fixed. Ignore the the guy below.

1) Do a system restore to the last good save point on your computer, prior to extracting the new patch. (Search "restore" in your OS if you need to find the tool)

2) After system restore does its thing and reboots your comp...

3) Delete the "OLD" folder from the new v 16 patch zip and extract the v16 patch as normal into your eq folder, overwriting everything else as usual.
