Any uprising these days would have to be civil. Violence doesn't really work as well as it did in the old days. That's unlikely to change in my lifetime no matter how much doom and fear the republicans preach about the brown man or how much doom and fear the democrats preach about the environment dying. The fact that the American populace on both sides of the political spectrum is too fucking stupid to realize that both sides want to fuck them equally hard under different premises is enough to ensure our doom in the end. I just don't think it will happen soon enough for me to care. That's reality. Thank god I am white and grew up a computer nerd. /ezstreet
