Honestly, this is a bit silly. Comparing government jobs to welfare is not really fair. Regardless of how you feel about the military, they are people hired to do a job and last I checked most employed people expect wages, be they soldiers, doctors, teachers, scientists, senators, or whatever. Calling someone who works for the government a drain on society is ridiculous. It's not like you have lines of people out there waiting to build roads and schools and cure disease and save lives and protect the peace for free. Them fools wanna get paid. *shrug*
