It's a rare drop from a semi-rare spawn that was usually very contested, and only appears at night.

Also is the only item with the red glowy fist thing graphic till drachnid thyxl in kunark... of which having a gbs + the thyxl in offhand looks badass [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I popped on that other "classic" server (its not, it has bots, 4x exp, wonky loot tables, etc.) I made a Ranger, zone out into Qeynos hills and right in front of me is Pyzjin. LOL. There wasn't anyone high enough to kill her and only a few people online at all.

Incorrect, actually the Orb of Tishan (see: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=84) has the same red glowing graphic and is droppable off of Nagafen pre-kunark. You can potentially look like a real badass right now!
