I applaud you for actually casting this spell in the first place to see if it was working as it should be.
Granted it was only 400-500 pp for the one cast, but still not a spell I was planning on caster ever....Maybe in VP....but only maybe.

Its very nice in PvP, and also as you said zones like VP and any boss mob that burst dps is needed.
I will check out infusion soon.
