A sandbox in video gaming just means its an open ended world, there is no quest driven storyline with an ending. Compared to traditional computer games where you beat the last boss and the game is over.

I fully understand the term sandbox when related to video games. I don't understand how it fits in instance to this server. EQ is by no means a sandbox. Lets see you start a level one and go level up in Karnors.

First time I've heard of the term being used for games or MMO's. Not really accurate in this context, but whatever.
