after playing the server for the beta, I got to lvl 23 on a rog/sk/shm. it'll probably be what I make when the server launches for real.

the game pretty much just feels like a solo EQ dungeon simulator with a chat room. thats not to say its a bad thing, it just really is a weird twist on EQ.

You mostly just head to a dungeon and make yourself a personal solo instance and you just kinda grind it out zelda style....clearing off a portion at a time, grinding in a certain area until you're ready to take on the next ect. What makes this fun tho is that they revamped a lot of the zones, so there is new loot and named mobs to find. So it actually feels fresh in a way because of that. Finding upgrades as you lvl up in EQ in the 10-20 game is awesome! usually you gotta wait til Guk to find anything decent.

The no death penalty makes exploring these dungeons much less tedious because if you get over your head you can just reset and try again or go to a different part of the dungeon you can handle.

Longevity is what i'm concerned about. obviously this is super fun, and probably will be until 50, but after 50 then what? idk if I'd wanna do another build to 50 again and again...but who knows.

if you're on the fence about trying it I highly recommend you scope it out.
