I treat it like diablo 2 loot rules ^ ^, I die I relevel from level one / loot gear. As far as I know I am one of only 2 people on p99 making it to 60 without death 1-60.

I was in leadership in a guild on red though where we did have that ruleset (Delete on death) still alive [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] stopped at 55 ( was about to hit 56, 3 weeks could not find splurt and was not looking forward to dueling 10+ year geared 60's without it). We doubled red's population for a while there ^ ^ (No rez necessary).

Many players had a rip post 50 and quit losing all gear.

To make it more fun I did it while charming juiced pets, double haste, str / dext gear and flint dagger (600+ damage proc).

Niargul (Patchamp) I dont know why you would think encouraging our guild to sink raid gear into dead characters would be preferred. Take your own advice and try it yourself ^ ^ I dont suggest other people try something I would not do myself I am not a hypocrite.

If you solo it's extremely easy to make it to 60 without dying. A lot of people have done that since P99's opening.
