Multiclass was already being worked on before THJ was even a thought and it was likely being worked on specifically for what we now know as EQL.

The IP holders may have had an 'idea' for multi-classing, which is not an original idea. But what's interesting is they actually hired Secrets and Rogean before THJ ever launched. Not likely, I made that up. But that would be the kind of non-existent evidence to convince people that EQL isn't exactly what it looks like.
