Is it a possibility for blue and green to be merged in the future in order to preserve an active community? I'm new to p99 so I'm ignorant about any differences between the two servers and things like that.

That was the original plan.

The people behind the servers took back that plan, without much explanation of why ... and now (years later) I think most of the player base wonders if/hopes they'll do what they originally said they would ... but no one really knows if they will.
