If it's a good exp spot, it's not gonna be an ideal farm spot for obvious reasons but whatever the appropriate level is for the area (I think like 17ish? I don't quite remember.) you'll be golden to try to snipe an opportunistic kill. Which is pretty good practice for higher level rangering. Recommend having 150 or 200 range bow with 150 range arrows to tag with (you can learn to craft these in about 30 mins or purchase flight arrows in FV) and learn how to use because those couple % you knock off the life bar go a long way in preventing disputes over FTE. 350 range is LONG and really good to have for these open field named.

Ranger with a fungi and decent AC gear (highly suggest Crystal Chitin Gloves / Boots) should reliably be able to kill lv +3 mobs for a long time. Yellow cons certainly. If you get beat up, just kite and tick back up with fungi. Gets more exciting vs shaman mobs. Bind over at FV.
All good tips, thank you. I think if I get a couple of yellows back to back, not to mention reds, I would struggle to hold the spawn and maybe have to do too much kiting etc. I would guess lvl 16 would be a decent lvl to start trying to clear a courier spawn point, and if I fail, try again every lvl
