Monk main here. Flying Kick is the only attack you should use, and yes the other discs for the other skills are broken on p99.

Why are they broken here and how are they supposed to behave? Makes no sense ashenhand is on a 72 mins timer for a lesser special attack but you get thunder kick at 52 on a 9 mins timer. I read on live it boosts a bunch of specials for 10 ticks but was that implemented at a later date?

Some things just don't work right yet. 16 years seems like a lot of time to work on the project, but you have to remember it's always been like 1 or 2 guys trying to track down information and fix stuff as a hobby.

Yeah I get that I just don't know the timeline for those, as if they were broken in era or if they gave them arbitrary values on p99 and never got around to fixing it. There's a 2014 bug thread for silentfist/ashenhand but it was closed with no reply.

The Original Ashenhand was supposed to imbue Eagle Strike with the chance to one-shot your target, which is why its on 72 minute cooldown.

Yeah I saw that digging but it says "under certain circumstances" so good luck finding the conditions and the % chance of happening. Probably closer to assassinate than desintegrate I'd guess but without a post discussing that particular disc it is way too hazy.

Yah I'd assume so. Probably same restrictions as assassinate / disintegrate too. I concur it was most likely a version of Assassinate for monks.

Assassinate is a passive and ashenhand is a on a 72m timer disc, the proc chance better be 50%+!
