I think the issue is the Sneak portion of Hide / Sneak. I have been able to be targeted just hidden, but once Snuck I can no longer be targeted.

Okay thanks for the detail. I was testing invisibility and not hide.

I was able to replicate with a rogue, by only hiding, not even sneak.

Are there other cases like this?
