yeah it looks like 18:25, 15 August 2025 was the last sucessful image upload

i still think it's a ddos via scrapping for ai situation so they locked stuff down to throttle bandwidth or w.e, someone complained about being unable to upload a avatar on the forums on the 19th and it wouldn't let me change mine either.

Avatar picker has been semi-broken for a long time.

ive heard that butt are we sure it wasn't just people trying to upload incorrectly formatted images?

all i know is i did a lot of avatar swapping early in the month then it broke during that one outage

Two options aren't there? Maybe upload image is the broke part and web source still goes.
