I'm sure I'm not the first person to think about what positive factions an Iksar Necromancer could obtain. Figured I'd ask here!
Does anyone know of a compendium or compilation or body of research involving this? I'd love to see the results of someone who has come before me. Can an Iksar Necro ever really achieve non KOS with good aligned cities/races? or are they forever locked out due to everyone hating them because they're a lizard. And what's more, a lizard who does undead things.

The upside is when I looked at the leveling guide, there were a LOT of spots for evil factions, play that to your advantage!
There's a couple neutral vendors so that's nice and some banks have tricks with LOS to let you bank even if KOS. Find those and check for hunting spots in the area. With invis and FD you got it relatively easy as a necro. There's probably more necro tricks I don't remember. I think skelly illusion makes you non kos in some cities? Worst case scenario you can make an alt with the right faction, xfer loot, sell it, buy gems and swap them back to main.

Glumfs is better, my iksar shammy is able to faction with basically everyone at the firepot locations, you might need a wolf form here and there but it's doable, some need advanced tricks like some Halas factions.
You have a huge racial penalty for being ikky, then a god penalty, and sometimes a class penalty as a necro. However the god and class can be advantages with some evil races tolerating you off the bat, apparently blood sabres and stuff are ok. The religion will help with paineel and grobb and a couple of other evil places. The race penalty can be removed by wolf form or skelly form. They might not especially love wolves or skellys but it removes your iksar penalty. FYI the glumfs guide is probably better than the iksar one. You have to decide if you want the whole city to love you or just enough to pass through/bank/not get ganked zoning in from firepots.
