I remember on EQ live equipping epics on level 1 characters because the check on level restriction is client side. Meaning you had to haxor to do it. I vaguely recall something about being able to equip items in any slot as well and people having those +hp rings in every slot at level 1. You could also haxor the shared bank in whatever expansion that was and transfer your epic to a level 1. EQ had no concept of security and anti cheat. As a side note I still wonder how secure the EQ client itself is considering you're connecting to emulated servers with modified code.
