it should be ruled on that's for sure, cause it's not like they actually sell the product anyone here is interested in and they've shown time and time again they aren't going to invest in the talent to win back customers so idk wtf the plan is, pump the numbers and dump it on the next suckers i assume

Suing THJ into oblivion gets the higher up suits of DBG off their backs for Fangbreaker's wet fart in church of a release, but honestly they are still the company that produced Fangbreaker. I dont see much of a future for the IP holders of Everquest. Can they even survive another bad release? Pushing their chips all in on the multi box crowd is like squeezing blood from a stone. People arent coming back for creatively bankrupt progression servers.

I am not defending DB for being a shit company. They have not done anything meaningful with the EQ IP for decades now. If they hired people who run EMUs to come up with cool ideas, maybe people would go back to playing on a DB server.

Again, it is the same as apple. The iphone has not changed much since the 11. it is the same tired system with minor upgrades every year. But does that mean some random people can build a better iphone and run ios and sell it under a different name legally? No. China is basically doing what THJ and all the EMUs are doing.
