My friend got called an ebayer in 2000 because he had FBSS, 2x Lamentation and full crafted on his level 38 warrior

As I recall, the term ebayer got thrown around when people had made it too far into their character progression to be as bad at the game for the behavior exhibited. snackpacc for example, would have been alled an ebayer.

I got chewed out by my guild on Lanys for spending DKP gearing up my vox/naggy alt with ntov junk... but that was towards the end of SoL haha.

People just mad - you earned the dkp to spend as you see fit. I doubt your guildies were removing their dkp earned gear while farming non-ToV / SoL content, right?
