When I was in 6th grade I got really into making doom levels, and the first one I made was my elementary school, just because it was a layout I knew well and I didnt even put any enemies in it I was just familiarizing myself with the software and the game engine but then a couple years later columbine happened and I was like ohhhhh god damnit I bet I'm on some list now.

danm dude i wish you immediately published it as a mod online and it became famous and was a part of all our retro nostalgia.

"did you play school doom??" is totally venacular I could see myself saying back in the 90s

Unfathomably based, i remember getting like a bootleg Doom constructor kit cd-rom back in the day came with some cool prebuilt levels and models iirc

downloading mods for wolf and doom from the local BBS and having to use PKZIP was literal peak civilization i think.
