When you have cancer, you can't just ignore it and proceed as if everything were normal. I mean, you can, but the tumor will just keep growing and interrupting more and more of the system's function, so it's a losing plan if you care about the health of the system.

As much as it may suck, sometimes your only option is to deal with the tumor.

I'll never understand how Loramin thinks trolling threads with off-topic personal attacks is a cure for anything. He doesn't realize he is the tumor, along with other off-topic posters using personal attacks. If he didn't post attacks, people wouldn't defend themselves.

I am not sure why Loramin wants the forum to be full of threads spammed with off-topic character attacks, and the posters being attacked must remain silent. Not sure why Loramin keeps supporting trolls over regular posters. Probably because he likes acting like a troll himself.

The funny thing is Loramin has me on ignore, so we can see he is just randomly posting off-topic nonsense without even knowing what's being said. I am not sure what good his ignore is if he just continues to attack me in every thread anyway. It just makes him look even worse.

There is no cause and effect here. People insulting you on the forums is not an open invitation for you to break forum rules yourself. There is no clause for "defending yourself" - no such thing exists. Why can't you get that through your skull?

I will continue to live in reality, where cause and effect does exist. It is the same reality where characters logged out from P99 cannot simultaneously be online and grouped with someone.

I understand you want the forum to be a place where you can attack people endlessly, and those people must remain silent and take your abuse. That is the perfect environment for a bully. I am sorry you can't be a bully here.

If you care about the rules, stop breaking them. The defense posts will stop too. Cause and effect.

The thread was going fine despite cecily and zuranthium taunting him, he conceded he was mistaken and thanked everyone. Everybody piling up on him past that point was just gratuitous. If you want to shit on him I'm sure he'll give you plenty of opportunities in the future but here he wasn't the instigator/polluter.

No, he was. His reaction for two full pages to people telling him that his backstab numbers were wrong was "no, the numbers in game that you've seen yourself for years must be wrong, not my calculator."

A rational person would have immediately realized their formula was wrong and listened to what the actual in-game numbers are. Instead he refused to do that and tried to gaslight everyone.

I didn't read him as insisting he was right but more trying to figure out what was going on and no one provided any explaination as to why he was wrong, not very helpful. He figured it out himself and it could have ended there.
