My stepdad was just hospitalized overnight for a mini-stroke. My mom and him were about to run an errand and all of a sudden he could only mumble a single word at a time and said he was dizzy

He was put on a temporary blood thinner which they they transitioned to aspirin. They said aspirin is also effective to protect against clots causing strokes



Yea some fitness influencer who was blasting PED’s recently fucked up his heart and posted his swollen ankles in the ICU. They said that his heart at that time was functioning at about 15%



Also abused to cut weight. Actors like Zac Effron had been asked to take it before in advance of a particular movie scene. Powerful shit



Also messes with hormones. I forgot which it is, but one of those oral hair loss treatments commonly is joked about in the fitness community to make your dick stop working



A few acquaintances I knew in my personal life died because they had a heart attack when their co-workers or spouse just happened to be in the other room. Had someone been there with them, they coulda done CPR but by the time they found them, they were gone

I had a 34 year old friend who regularly doesn't exercise play rack ball with me. We left the gym and later I got a call they were in the hospital.

They were found slumped over the wheel on the side of the road.

Their blood pressure normally high was now very low.

While recovering they had another two more strokes over a 3 month period.

They were in the ICU for a bit and a big clot was removed but then they needed to learn to walk and also needed speech therapy.

Moral of the story..All take care of your heart you only get one.

Once knew a guy who had a sudden emergency.

This was just after Thanksgiving in 2019

They went to the emergency center claiming it was just a varicose veins problem.

They were discharged later lying say it was just a scheduled exam and labs thing.

But.... their next of kin were all put on stand-by that the hospital may need to use anesthesia.

Pretty crazy

From then on we always knew the guy lied about their health.
