i miss when 100% of my PC game purchases were solely based on how fucking badass the box cover art was.

i bought UO and didn't even get to play it

This reminded me of something dumb I did as a kid. When I was around 10 years old (early 1995ish) I saved up my allowance to buy Heretic and then unfortunately found out that my sega cd couldn't play PC games when I popped the disc in and nothing happened lmao.
