Similarly, none of the pull team's work matters without a force to kill the target. The pull team does typically involve the same familiar names, but it still adds/subtracts classes as needed from zone to zone. Bards in VP, druids/rangers in PoH, etc.

Agreed, and yet while there can be no warm bodies in the pull team since it s a more active role, that doesn't mean the kill force is one great big mass of bodily warmth, which is what was being implied. I am not keen on bot armies either, and I like the Firiona Vie server rules etc, but while multiple characters and accounts doe diminish the value of certain classes, the shelf life of these servers has been extended by alts.
