Originally, basically any pure melee damage would interrupt casters guaranteed (especially under 30) and they also had to "see" their target for it to land (was changed rather quickly). I remember doing the circle of death with my rogue on casters and them not even being able to get one spell off. Root and snare/slow were essential. It wasn't until 40ish that casters would have a good chance at channeling through melee damage.
On the majority of these last few boxes, melee damage would almost never interrupt (not talking about bash/slam). Even a mid level caster could channel through it. I wonder how it's going to be on red99, that will greatly determine which route I go. | ||
