Depends a lot on the content you do also. BOC and HOH are pretty solid statwise if you don't just want resists. If you're raiding or poor, reaver all the way I guess.

No. There is not a flathate bonus.

There is a hate bonus directly calculated from weapon damage and damage bonus.

2H aggro is fine, due to larger weapon damage, and damage bonus.

Yeah I misremembered. You get threat per swing even if you miss. If you get the same DPS with 1handers despite the miss rate of your OH I'd assume you'd get significantly more hate generated but I could be wrong.
