So they installed a new streetlight at my gym, because it’s so busy during the day with this crazy damn traffic we have now, without it people would be sitting at that intersection all day. And it’s one of those smart lights that senses any vehicle and instantly gives them the light.
But I don’t need that when I leave the gym at 11pm. There’s still a grip of cars going by, but I can wait for 30 seconds and be able to go. But the smartlight is like “nah, everyone has to stop 50mph to zero both directions and gets to watch this lone dude who just pulled up go by”. Inconvenience for many, but it’s my King for a Minute moment. And sometimes it’s about the little things | ||
