The therapist gal I’m dating I saw last sat for dinner, and she had an interesting story. It was recently her birthday (and I didn’t know but we haven’t been dating that long and I barely remember my mom’s birthday much less some random gal I started dating)

But anyway it was her birthday and she said she was in the bathroom and had lit a candle in there and her cat was stomping around the shelf the candle was on. And I already suspected I knew the outcome because we’ve all seen that Americas Funnest Home Videos clip where the cat lights its tail on fire accidentally

But hers was worse. The cat did light its tail on fire the same time it was looking at her. And it’s little cat brain make the split second association that SHE had somehow lit its tail on fire. And this perfectly well behaved for all its lifetime loving cat went into Fighting For My Life Attack Mode on her

She said the only reason her arms weren’t savaged was because she ripped the shower curtain rod off the wall and was using it to keep the cat back somewhat

She eventually was able to get away from it in a different room. Eventually after a while it apparently decided to stop holding a grudge, which surprised me. I had heard a story of a tiger in Russia that some dude wounded and that fucking Tiger stayed outside his house for like a day or more, bleeding, waiting for him to come out and tore him to shreds. Cats are vengeful creatures

Made me think of my cat Ernie. He has never play fought hard enough to even draw blood. He knows what’s up, he knows how to pull back. But now I wonder if he could have his MK ULTRA attack sequence initiated by something…
