the biggest mistake "the left" can make in the next few years is failing to understand not why harris lost, that's obvious, but not understanding why trump won.

without any actual leadership, they were swallowed by the power vacuum that absence of leadership created.

now instead of leaders who will engage their opposition trying to seek common ground, for the common good of all, you will have a president who rules with a hammer, with only bureaucratic interference to slow him down. The very bureaucratic state he campaigned against.

In trying to stop him, they will prove him right, instead of winning back their voters by proving him wrong.

Then you'll have to deal with Vance 48, and this is a guy with the verbal skills to make you feel good while telling you to go fuck yourself.
You both make it sound like it was an overall huge win? Each of the controversial states were close.

Even the popular vote was very close.

Orange man's mismanagement recession is on its way to happen again and the same team will try to cheat again.

I hated trump in 2019, and his V shaped recovery I thought was bulllllshit... but...

this isnt even us economy, it wasn't either of them.

The world just wasn't ending like we all thought it was.

Trump was right.

He was fucking right.

I hated him, but he was right.

being a republican and having the popular vote "close" is a bigger self own than i think you realize.

last one to even have a good showing was Reagan after carter iirc or Bush 2nd term due to 9/11 or someshit

Neocon Kamala lost all the battlegrounds except 1 iirc

2004 red team won the popular vote. Reagan 80 was the last male majority electorate.

this is why they won't win 2028, they don't look deep enough to understand why they lost

skim the facts until they agree with your opinion

then move on to the next thing

The pendulum is swinging. His mismanagement is inevitable.

Its been 8 days, there is no pendulum swinging.

The only thing we're a little frustrated with is, that he isn't a dictator yet.

the bar is starting in the negatives for everyone that didn't vote for him or stayed home, the only pendulum swinging going on the near term is blue team losing even more vote share cause i don't see how his policies don't cause a economic boom

the progs and neolibs need to figure out who the top and who the bottom is in their relationship cause this weird hybrid of "playing house" as a political party isn't fucking working anymore. either go actual socialist or actual neolib

i don't even care which way i'm not voting anymore regardless but someone needs to lead

This is doubtful, he has a dream team of political managers behind him. Love them or hate them, they know what they are doing, and are not afraid to do it.

Some of them were democrats not all that long ago, and he wouldn't have got my vote, or alot of other votes were it not for them joining the cause.

a stopped clock being right twice a day and all, Joe Rogan made an apt comment recently in response to people calling for a "Leftist Joe Rogan", Rogan answers, "You had me, I was on your side"

counting on trump to fail is too big of a risky variable for the left, not when there is a very good chance that he will succeed.

don't lose the forest for the trees
