this had nothing to do with states, or California, this was a private bank with private investors and the fear of them defaulting and causing (the above) was enough to have the white house write a check for 20 billion dollars to help those that the $250k insurance wasn't enough to cover their loss. It was a shameful mask off moment for the billionaire oligarch democrats (who have more billionaire than republicans let alone MAGA has in their corner).

Tariffs if enacted is just a messy resulting tax on the American people. Especially on energy, coffee, car parts and computer technology to exporting countries.

Causing too much world turmoil will just cause Japan, China and the UK to sell off their US debt making us look like chumps as our economy crashes and burns.

Furthermore the Orange rump is creating a separate External Revenue Service to collect tariffs on imports to further fool his uneducated voters.
