Kylong, Rygorr, Sebilite Scale, and Tigerraptor armor are all decent.
Dark scale greaves and arms or Mithril nice for STR. Black ice armor is cheap.
Phase Spider Carapace or tree weave for chest.
SCHW for haste. You will get more bang for your buck with a 2h. Silver Swiftblade, natures wrath or springwood stave would work on the cheap until you can afford a woodsman or argent protector.
Snare/fear animals. Save up for a tolan bracer; it will open up solo spots 50+ when animal fearing isn’t as viable.
