Give us some examples of what you have parsed in the past and we can compare notes.

Further begging for parses, parse targets or general requests for holding your hand will simply get another “go fuck yourself” response.

I have always enjoyed applying the scientific method to my addiction of choice (EQ). I genuinely find satisfaction in it - that’s why I parse things literally any time I’m on with a heads up display. I don’t often do the deep dive but it does give you a good general awareness.

Most common theme I see? People have no idea how much damage they actually do. Most people severely overestimate what they or some classes can do.
Same - I probably get more enjoyment from maths and data analysis than I do from video games, even. But I'm also a relative newb at EQ, having only played a total of about two years, never raiding yet, and mostly playing casters. Not much interesting to parse on a solo druid.

I'm sure that the Worn Shai`din Naginata at 37/45 +6str will clearly outclass the Spined Dragon Claws at 10/21 with offhand Green Jade Broadsword at 11/25 +8str, but absolutely no clue what the dps will be for each setup. It'll be fun to make some predictions before running the parses.

And thanks for sending me those parses, Troxx. They're really helpful for developing the methodology and coming up with the right hypotheses. I'll be able to get a parse for each side tonight to debug the methodology, but it'll probably take until this weekend to get enough data to share publicly.

Another Troxx meltdown thread. How unfortunate.

At least he admitted to being closeminded this time:

Whether I post my parses or not ... whether you shit on them or not ... whether you care to believe them or whatever the heck you are inclined to believe ...none of it changes in game *reality*. Those with the tools and the experience know the truth.
He will never listen to anybody, and every parse is wrong. But he will never tell us what a correct parse is either. He will stay in his safe space where he thinks he is always right.

Bcbrown should share the mob(s) that were parsed and the timeframe. Then we can get an answer from Troxx he could have simply gave us 20+ pages ago! I am not sure why he must spam threads non-stop because he doesn't want to show his work.

It would be great if you could share the mobs that were being parsed, and rough time estimates for the parse before you get into the details. Then I can start collecting data. I am not sure why Troxx can't do this himself.
