I'm wondering what the answer is to the original question. At lv 35 my defense skill as a necromancer seems to be capped at 120, when my per level limit should be past the accepted cap of 145 in most equations. It seemed better to keep the answer to this thread than create another asking the same question.

Only weapon skills are (Level * X) + X, where:
X = 5 if you're a melee class, X = 4 if you're a priest class, X = 3 if you're an arcane class Defense/Offense are Level * 5 regardless of class. The only difference between classes is the hard caps.
