For the people who say the grind is part of EQ and character building etc, once we have teams, everything working perfect, content working good, built up a community.
I would consider a one time release of classic classic. Which would never reset, permanent classic. That being said, it will just end up where the box is now. Until more testing/people/data is available I can't even consider it. Ultimately you're just kicking the problems down the road, for people who might not stick around for PVP anyways and just enjoy PVE with some thrills. | ||

TLDR - Some day a classic classic box might work, but it would take a year or two of testing/community building/earning the confidence of the community etc.

In Secrets defense he hasn't released a PVP box that I can judge, I just meant like a better player/better grasp of Everquest.
I think a lot of the people on Red would feel that way if they played end game EQ with some of these devs. They just can't put it into a physical thing. | ||

Since sunday we upped our max zones to 100, I ended up on Dynamic zones that expire after 20 mins of being empty, maybe exploitable for group loot (instead of clearing mob you want, zone out wait 20 mins, zone in) but it's almost the same time to kill, and I'd prefer to just keep things running smoother for PVP in the zones people are occupying. Most group loot is irrelevant, and dynamic zones don't respawn anything, so it won't mess with raid targets.
Adjusted Naggy/Vox to 7 days. Congrats Birdops crew first vox, first hate minis. Inny is 2.0 I'm not sure if they downed him yet, Fear is 2.0 so Golems have the weapons on them etc. I may monkey around a bit eventually adjusting CT slowly. Draco is godly with 400k hp or something too so everything needs fine tuning. Had to make a virtual ZL for Soltemple. Fixed Sky, added static Thunder Spirit Princess to island 1, when killed she spawns Sirran, the lesser faeries have key parts, island 2 azaracks have key parts, spawns boss azarack and then sirran, tested 3 when Gorgalosk is killed, spawns Sirran, that's as far as I've gotten - needs further testing. Key to dojorn is free. Still have Inny/Golems/Phinny for server firsts =D Adjusted hit box up a bit to .5, holding it there for now don't want it too tedious and impossible with any sort of lag. What else we do oh yeah enabled HP mobs to be spawned in ROF2, was just a setting. Think that's about it so far. Will keep yall posted. | ||
