Do it like the pro enchanters then. Send your charm pet in on multiple, root the other mobs. When you pet is close to dead break charm, root and DoT it (dot rot). Charm one of the other mobs you were fighting that are rooted and engage the other rooted mobs, repeat until all mobs are dead.
