Honestly, unless you plan on trying to solo to 60 don't worry about being a human monk. Regen really doesn't matter in groups and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. (If you do plan on mostly soloing that might be a different story.)

As it is there is going to be an army of Iksar Monk clones, don't become one of them.

Good points.. I enjoy grouping and plan on doing so until level cap.

And yah, I was thinking that Human Monks will be come rare after Kunark, so I might as well stick with him!

Even if you do attempt to solo (my monk solo's poorly at 40+), bind wound is the difference who care aboout a few hp's extra when youre binding for close to 100 per bandaid?

Or you could wait for Kunark and be KoS everywhere (even the 'evil' outposts), have SERIOUS faction farming for your epic, and have a 44% experience penalty - and seriously, twink with a fungi? It will be a long time after release before the upper end items start filtering dont to twinks, so good luck with that.
